ANALISIS PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN VISIONER, KOMPETENSI DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU PADA SMA NEGERI DI KABUPATEN DELI SERDANG PROVINSI SUMATERA UTARA

Abstrak
This research is aimed to analyze whether visionary leadership, competency, and motivation has significant effects to teachers’ performances partially or simultaneously. The accessible population in this research were 113 state senior high school teachers in Deli Serdang Regency North Sumatera Province. The research design is survey with questionnaire data collection technique. The data test technique was done by using analysis of validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, statistical test, and hypothesis test. All analysis techniques was used with the help of SPSS 22 program. Based on the analysis result descriptively, it was found that the visionary leadership variable is in excellent category. However, it still has some weaknesses such as lack of growing the spirit, lack of motivating the teachers to act in the correct direction, and lack of coordinating teachers’ different abilities. Based on the analysis of t test result, tcount is higher than ttable. It shows that leadership, competency, work motivation, and performance affect positively and significantly to teachers’ performances. Moreover, based on the analysis of F test result, Fcount is higher than Ftable. It shows that visionary leadership, competency, and work motivation affect positively and significantly to teachers’ performances and the value of determination coefficient (R2) is 0,7691. It shows that the contribution of visionary leadership variable, competency, and work motivation is 0,7691 or 76,91% while the rest is 23,08% or 23% is affected by other variables namely compensation, work culture, work environment, and many more.
