IMPLEMENTASI KODE ETIK NOTARIS TENTANG PEMASANGAN PAPAN NAMA DAN PAPAN TANDA PENUNJUK JALAN NOTARIS (STUDI DI KOTA MEDAN)

Abstrak

The results of this research conclude that some of the installations of Notary signboard and signpost in Medan are still not in line with provisions stipulated in Article 3 number 9 and Article 5 point 3 of Notary Code of Ethics, namely the Notary signboard are not 100cm x 40cm, 150cm x 60cm, or 200cm x 80cm in size, the signboard are not black, the words, Notary, written on the board are not in line with the regulations in the Code of Ethics; more than one signposts are installed and they are not 20cm x 50cm in size, notaries’ names and addresses are written in the signposts, and they are installed further than the maximum radius of 100 meters from Notary office. These issues are resulted from the lack of notaries’ compliance with the regulations stipulated in Notary Code of Ethics on notary signboard and signpost as a form of notice to the society about the existence of notaries’ offices, notaries; lack of knowledge about the regulations concerning the existence of their offices as well as signboard and signpost, that the notaries’ offices are not located on the major arterial roads, that many notaries’ offices are located in a same area, less maximum supervision, and less forceful sanction implementation.
